Russians Spill Oil and Submarine Collides
There have recently been two big news incidents in the news the first was that of two nuclear submarines nearly crashing into one another. The vessels which were carrying huge missiles collided under ground but only slightly as they hit the front bumpers. Although it was a very close call there was not really any nuclear leak but the front bumper had over fifty million pounds in damages.
The second tragedy occurred just off of the Irish Republic and was contained with a Russian war boat, which ended up dropping around 300 tonnes of oil into the sea after problems during refuelling, although the vessel was not nuclear it is said that it could cause a massive negative effect to the environment and kill a lot of ocean life.
So this leads us to ask a certain question and that is how equipment which costs millions of pounds manages to collide into each other? Why was this over looked before? Could you comprehend the disaster if the 2 vessels collided head on? Not only would everyone on board fail to live but it would cause a nuclear explosion which potentially has the ability to end the world.
This may sound a bit far fetched, but it is just not acceptable, these tanks are huge machines that are trusted to take dangerous chemicals, missiles and bombs all across the globe. You would presume that one of these vessels would have spotted one another and moved but it was like both of theie satelite navigations were not working. It just goes to show you the human eye cannot be beaten, even by the most advanced technologies in the world.
