The world is struggling at the moment due to the credit crunch. One of the worst suffering industries at the current time has to be oil suppliers, the price of crude oil rises and rises every year, this puts the costs through the roof.

But as technology progresses we begin to see the use of oil degrade more and more, but should oil suppliers really be worried? Not all oil suppliers should be scared but the specific vehicle suppliers should look at evolving.

The reason for this is because as we can all see the government is strongly campaigning for people to start using more eco friendly cars, they have even started a vehicle scrappage scheme. I personally feel within the next few years we are going to see cars on the road that are all electric powered.

This will not only be eco friendly but it will allow people that own cars so save much more money. I mean the price of fuel for a car is endlessly rising every single day. With the new electric vehicles none of this will actually be useful, all you would need is a mobile charge point that you could plug in to your car then you could be on your way.

So I can guarantee that the oil suppliers who cater for cars will take a hit in the future. And why should we just stop there? Why not look at cleaning up the skies too.
